If you’re looking for a valentine that won’t be thrown away as soon as the kids bring it home from school, try these fleece heart rice bags from Creative Pink Butterfly.       It’s easier and harder when they start to have an opinion on things, isn’t it? It’s nice to not have to do everything yourself, but sometimes it’s less of a hassle when they’re too young to care!

      Aren’t they cute? Eli has already picked out the ones he wants to use from the list. Samuel is still deciding if he wants to give out valentines at all (‘Girls give out cards.’) 😛

    These are great! My kids and I still make valentines but last year, they chose to give out store bought ones along with them. The store bought cards are often cheaper than making them (if you don’t already have a craft supply stash) but I hate that every mom gets them from our Target so they all buy the same ones!

      My hubby said the same thing: “It would be cheaper to buy them at the store than pay for all that ink you’re using!” But I agree, it’s nice to have ones that aren’t exactly the same as all the rest.

    Wow this is a great list! Thank you for putting it together. My boys love anything Star Wars and Legos, so great they’re on the list.

      Yeah, my four year old isn’t sold on the idea of valentines (too girly), so hopefully one of the more ‘boyish’ options will appeal to him.
