To All the Moms

May 9, 2015 By Lauren

To all the moms:

To ALL the Moms

To the Some Day Mom who dreams of the day when the time is right to start a family,

To the Trying Mom who has just started her journey or who is finding the journey far more arduous and heartbreaking than she imagined,

To the Expectant Mom who carries her greatest blessing inside her,

To the Mom with Empty Arms whose heart aches for what might have been,

To the Adopted Mom whose child grew in her heart, if not in her body,

To the Mom of a Baby who wonders how she’ll survive each long day while also wishing for time to slow,

To the Toddler Mom who marvels at all her child learns in a day and dreads all that her child gets into in a day,

To the Single Mom who gives her all times two,

To the Birth Mom who selflessly made the hard decision,

To the Preschool Mom who must begin to learn the process of letting go,

To the Foster Mom who loves those she knows she may not keep,

To the Elementary Mom who must watch her child learn to navigate a big world,

To the Widowed Mom who often feels so all alone,

To the Preteen Mom who finds herself entering a scary new world,

To the Mom Who Lost a Child who mourns with every fiber of her being,

To the Mom of a Teen who both dreads and eagerly awaits the end of these days,

To the Step Mom who must learn a careful balancing act,

To the Mom of Adult Children who loves them just as deeply as the day they were born,

To the Unexpected Mom who finds herself faced with decisions she never intended to face,

To the Special Needs Mom who often gives double the effort to gain half the ground,

To the Fill-in Mom who quietly steps up when she is needed,

To All the Moms:

You are seen.

You are appreciated.

You are important.

YOU ARE LOVED.
